Paul SL Peng is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AUO. Peng is a seasoned display industry professional in a variety of specialization fields. In 1990, Peng worked at BenQ and later headed the Material and Production Department at BenQ's plant in Malaysia. In 1998, he became AUO's Vice President of Supply Chain Management. In 2001, Peng helped establish AUO's Suzhou module plant, the Company's first overseas manufacturing facility as General Manager of the Suzhou site. Having returned to Taiwan in 2005, Peng assumed AUO's sales and marketing function, where he was appointed General Manager of IT Display Business Group. In 2008, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Global Business Unit, leading TV Business Group, IT Display Business Group, and Consumer Product Business Group. During his tenure, Peng successfully forged alliance with major customers to jointly invest in module plants, deployed globally, and increased overseas shipment outlets. In 2012, he was promoted to President and steered the management team to successfully achieve technology upgrade and product differentiation. Peng was appointed as Chairman of AUO in May 2015.

Michael Tsai is currently AUO's President and Chief Operating Officer. Tsai has profound experience in the display industry and is well acquainted with various aspects of operations including sales, marketing, supply chain and manufacturing functionality. He joined AUO in 1997 and was charge of material management and procurement. He was promoted to Director of material management and logistics in AUO’s Suzhou module plant in 2002, where he successfully built up local supply chain and supervised the suppliers. In 2005, Tsai returned to Taiwan to take the post of Associate Vice President of procurement division, and was appointed Senior Associate Vice President of IT Display Manufacturing in 2007. He turned to head sales and marketing and was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Information Technology Business Group in 2008. Since 2011, he had served as Vice President and General Manager of Video Solutions Business Group before being promoted as Senior Vice President in 2013. In 2015, he was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer.
Tsai graduated from National Cheng Kung University with a degree in Business Management and obtained his EMBA degree at National Chiao Tung University in 2010.
Wei-Lung Liau is currently General Manager of AUO’s Video Solutions Business Group, leading the R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing of AUO’s large-sized display products including TV, desktop monitor and public information displays. Liau joined AUO’s manufacturing unit in1998. In 2005, he was appointed to head the LCD Technology Division. He was promoted Associate Vice President of Advanced Display Technology Research Center in 2010. Then he served as Associate Vice President of Video Solutions Technology Unit in 2013, and was promoted to Vice President in the following year. In 2015, he was promoted to General Manager of Video Solutions Business Group.
Liau obtained his Master’s Degree in Applied Chemistry from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.
Sean Chen is currently General Manager of AUO’s Mobile Solutions Business Group, leading the R&D, manufacturing, and sales and marketing functions of Mobile PC and Tablet Business Unit, Audio-Video Display Business Unit, Mobile Device Business Unit, and General Display Business Unit. Chen joined AUO in 1999. During his career at AUO, Chen had served as Director of TFT-LCD module plants from 2003 to 2008, and then assumed post in the IT display product marketing unit. Chen was promoted to Associate Vice President of IT Display Product Business Unit in 2010. Then he served as Associate Vice President of Video Solutions Product Business Unit in 2011, and was promoted to Senior Associate Vice President of Mobile Solutions Business Group in 2014. He was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Solutions Business Group in 2015.
Chen holds dual master's degrees, one in Operation Research and Industrial Engineering, and the other in Mechanic Engineering from Cornell University in the U.S.
Benjamin Tseng is currently AUO’s Chief Financial Officer. He joined AUO in 2008 as Director of Financial Management and was promoted to Associate Vice President in charge of financing and accounting of AUO’s subsidiaries in China in 2011. He was appointed Associate Vice President of Finance in 2012, and promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2015. Tseng has extensive professional experiences in financial management and practices, and is thoroughly familiar with the Company’s domestic and international financial operations.. Prior to AUO, he worked for Coretronic Corporation as Director of Corporate Development. He also had more than 10 years in ABN AMRO Bank and served as Vice President in Corporate Clients Department.
Tseng received his MBA degree from the University of Rochester in the U.S. in 1995.
