ASPD-mobile Technology


Entering the era of multimedia and 3G mobile phones, it is essential for displays to support high quality video uses. The AUO Simulated Pulse Driving (SPD) control technology on mobile phone displays can reduce the motion blur effect and, combined with overdrive (OD) technology, increase the voltage to accelerate the liquid crystal response speed. With these technologies, the response time is faster and results in a better motion behavior of the LCD panel. The technology can improve response time (gray to gray) as compared with current products marketed. It can also improve the motion picture response time (MPRT) and reach the desired level faster by ASPD-mobile and overdrive (OD) technology.
